My Best Friend's Secret

As we got to know each other, my best friend was carefree, considerate, and never took things too seriously. She was always lively and cheerful. We were so happy together in our everyday lives. She was always positive and optimistic, but never spoke up about her troubles. She kept everything bottled up, preferring to suffer in silence rather than let anyone know. As time went by, my friend found the person she loved, and the two of them eventually found their happy ending. But our relationship remained as innocent as it had been when we first met.
