[Alternate world, fantasy, no harem, no clichés, no invincibility, no System, no brainless plot. A power fantasy, but the victories don't come easily every time]
They've all disappeared. They've all disappeared...
Sleeping, sleeping...
When I fused with Cthulhu, I became unable to escape the fate of being hunted.
In this world, righteous people are often seen as fools because they stick to their principles without considering the interests of others. They are often too idealistic to see reality for what it is.
Your thoughts and memories are completely transparent to the outside world, like a book left in a public place or a film playing in a square, utterly exposed and visible to anyone looking in.
When you speak face to face, everything you say is true. You cannot deceive or lie. What changes, what kind of politics emerges, when a being's every thought is transparent? You have no schemes and cannot pretend to be something you're not. So this is what it means for Cthulhu to be "blind and foolish": a perfect being that believes it has filled in its flaws and weaknesses.
What kind of world is this? Perhaps I will never find the answer, but I want to understand.
I have no salvation to offer for the suffering of this world.
Everyone has a monster in their heart. That day, I killed the weak version of myself, and a new me was reborn.
I will eventually become the strongest in this world, the source of all endings, and bring the age of the gods to a close!
It's okay, but a fly in the ointment
Wow, why is this novel so good?
