I stood in front of the mirror, looking at myself.

I was still as ugly as ever.

A protruding mouth, buck teeth, a broad, oversized face, and a body like a fat pig, so plump my neck had disappeared.

Only my eyes, tender and soulful, were as beautiful as autumn waters, captivating anyone who saw them.

They were my younger sister’s eyes.

Now they belonged to me.
