Chu Xingqiao returns to D City for his clinical placement and takes in his nephew, who has recently become a little withdrawn. He first mistakenly thinks Song Huaiyi is dating a high school girl, then discovers that Song Huaiyi is her homeroom teacher, and his nephew’s homeroom teacher too.
As it happens, Song Huaiyi was also Chu Xingqiao’s senior in high school.
Later, after Chu Xingqiao wins him over, he discovers Song Huaiyi isn’t quite what he imagined. If Chu upsets him, Song gets all wronged and teary-eyed, then thrusts into him hard, acting as if Chu were some heartless cad.
Well, he kind of is.
As it turns out, running away won’t work, and returning him is no easy feat. In the end, Chu has to face the problem head-on.
It’s hard to mend a broken relationship, but luckily, they love each other enough.
Before they met again, Chu Xingqiao was like a withered tree. Though he should have been a free-spirited bird, he insisted on shouldering every responsibility. Luckily, all things can turn around. A butterfly happened to flap its wings gently over the Amazon, and a free wind swept wildly across the whole sky.
At last, the deadwood met summer.
Author’s note: This book was taken down before because of some safety issues, and I stopped updating in a fit of anger. Later, I still wanted to give them a happy ending and finish telling their story. I should revise it a little over winter break and try to resume updates. Love you all.
