"Running in a Wheelchair" is a collection of essays written by Wang Yi, a young female writer with a disability, from 2007 to 2019. It records her ordinary but exciting more than ten years from the age of eighteen to the age of thirty - from Yancheng to Nanjing, from studying to self-study, from an ignorant little girl to a mature and sensible girl, and from a female "housekeeper" to a female "writer". The book contains not only her memories of her youthful life, her cherishment of family and friendship, but also her thoughts on creation and publishing over the past few years, as well as her responses to external doubts and her unswerving determination to dream. The text contains the warmth of the sun and the coldness of the night. It is the spiritual realization of a disabled girl working hard to pursue her dreams. It conveys the positive energy of the new youth in the new era and feels the self-esteem, self-confidence, self-reliance and self-improvement of disabled people.

This book is very good! Although Wang Yi is physically disabled, her heart is full of strength, just like my uncle who has always been optimistic even though he has limited mobility. The difficulties she mentioned in the book reminded me of the setbacks I had faced, and also made me cherish my current life even more. I especially hate the person who laughs at her in the book. I really hope there are fewer people like this. This book made me feel the difficulties of people with disabilities, and also made me understand that we should respect everyone and give them more care and support.
