The "Biographies of the Yuhuatai Martyrs" series strives to be realistic, objective and true to reflect the life trajectory and revolutionary deeds of the Yuhuatai martyrs, and to comprehensively and deeply grasp the historical materials of the martyrs, including searching for relevant martyrs' cemeteries, memorial venues in the martyrs' hometowns, party history and cultural and historical departments, martyrs' relatives, old comrades, etc. To collect, organize and publish the martyrs' historical materials; interviewing relatives of the martyrs and relevant insiders. It pays attention to combining the social and historical background, highlighting the activities of the biographer, using people and events throughout the book, taking into account the ideological development and personal life of the biographer, and writing about the character characteristics and life colors of the biographer, which has a strong story-telling quality.
The complete set of books is planned to be published within 3-4 years. 27 Books have been published in June 2016, among which the biographers include Yun Daiying, Deng Zhongxia, Xiang Ying, He Baozhen, Deng Yanda, Xu Chuguang, Leng Shaonong, Lu Zhiying, Gu Heng, Deng Zhenxun, Tao Jiaqi, Hou Shao Qiu, Xu Baoye, Yuan Guoping, Chen Junqi, Gao Wenhua, He Ruilin, Hong Lingfei, Li Gengyun, Liu Yasheng, Ren Tianshi, Sun Xiaomei, Xia Yuchu, Xie Wenjin, Zhu Kejing, Zhu Wuping and the Ten Martyrs of Xiaozhuang.
