About the Author

Pan Zhichang is a professor and doctoral supervisor at Nanjing University, as well as director of the university's Urban Image Communication Research Center. In 1992, he was approved as an expert eligible for the State Council's special government allowance. He has published 30 scholarly books and 7 edited works, and has published more than a hundred academic papers in China and abroad.

A leading figure in the School of Life Aesthetics, he proposed the “Tacitus Trap,” a principle in politics and communication, at the start of the 21st century. It has had a significant impact in China.
