Ni Shixiong, graduated from Fudan University in 1964, is a professor, doctoral supervisor, and member of the Social Science Committee of the Ministry of Education. He once served as dean of the School of International Relations and Public Affairs at Fudan University, director of the Center for American Studies at Fudan University, vice president of the Chinese American Society, honorary president of the National Association for the Study of International Politics in Universities, and director of the Shanghai Shixiong International Relations Research Center. Main research directions: international relations theory, U. S. Foreign strategy and policy, Sino-U. S. Relations.
