General History of Modern China Volume 9 the Anti-Japanese War (1937-1945)

This volume starts with the July 7th Incident and ends with Japan's defeat and surrender. It describes a series of events in my country's military, political, economic, diplomatic, ideological and cultural fields during the stage of the comprehensive resistance war. Defeating the Japanese invaders is the prominent theme of this volume. Around this center, frontal battlefield operations are the main focus, supplemented by guerrilla operations behind enemy lines and diplomatic efforts, forming the main line of this volume.
