This book is very rich in content. The author, Mr. Yang Kuisong, has strong narrative ability and tells complex historical events clearly and easily. I especially liked the description of the negotiations between the Kuomintang and the Communist Party in the book, which gave me a deeper understanding of that period of history. However, I kind of hate Chiang Kai-shek, and the way he handles some things makes people very uncomfortable. Overall, this is a good book worth reading.
Wherever possible, it truly reflects the history of that time, a very rare work!
[Chigua] It would be good to read the general history of modern China!
