Jacob is a loner with a strange hobby - searching for and attending the funerals of strangers. At the memorial dinner after the funeral, he eloquently told the relatives and friends of the deceased the story of his acquaintance with the deceased. After seven funerals, a special social network was gradually formed, and a special emotion was also quietly growing.
At the same time, Jacob was also obsessed with the exploration of ancient languages. From the study of Indo-European languages, he discovered the connection between other cultures and other times, and shared his feelings with Peller. For Jacob, Peller is companionship, induction, and the twin of the soul. When love comes, who will win the lover?
"The Puppet Master" is a new masterpiece by Jostan Judd, a famous Norwegian writer and author of "Sophie's World". It is a novel that is rich in meaning and touching. About loneliness, about social relationships, about the connections and meanings that language and storytelling can create, about pursuing your place in the world and your purpose in life, about loving and being loved.

This book was such an eye-opener for me! The author Jostan Judd is amazing, he talks about loneliness and telepathy so profoundly. Every character in the story seems to have their own secret, which makes me want to keep reading. I especially hate the mysterious puppet master. I always feel that he has some ulterior purpose. However, this book is really worth reading and will make you think about many issues about life.
