[Farming + feel-good story + putting scumbags in their place + fleeing famine] On her way home from a blind date, a single schoolteacher trips over a manhole cover and dies, only to transmigrate to ancient times. As soon as she arrives, she is expected to become the elderly rich man in town’s concubine. She has awful relatives, a timid mother, a father who favors sons over daughters, and a family living in absolute poverty. Watch Tang Ruyun take on her awful relatives, help her mother divorce her father, and lead them to wealth. Just when life starts getting better, famine strikes, and the straight-laced man she teamed up with on the journey to find refuge turns out to be her fiancé. He kills bandits, repels rebel forces, and rises to become a general. “Yun’er, when are we going to consummate our marriage?” … “Go away, go away!” … “Yun’er, another noble young lady is trying to steal me away. What should I do?” … “Leave it to me!”
