Introduction
In the form of documentary literature, this book introduces in detail the process of the Nanjing Massacre Memorial Day evolving from a local city public memorial event to a national public memorial day. Since 1994, people from all walks of life in Jiangsu Province and Nanjing City have held ceremonies to commemorate the victims of the Nanjing Massacre by the Japanese invaders for 20 consecutive years to express their memory and grief for the compatriots who died in the Nanjing Massacre, in order to educate the living and warn future generations. As the advocate and organizer of the memorial ceremony, Zhu Chengshan used his own personal experience to tell the important stories that happened in previous public memorial activities. The "National Memorial" calls on all countries in the world to jointly build a community with a shared future for mankind and strive to build a world of lasting peace and common prosperity in the name of the country.

This book records the evolution of the Nanjing Massacre Memorial Day from a local public memorial to a national public memorial in a documentary way, which is very meaningful. The author Zhu Chengshan told many stories about the public memorial activities through his own personal experience, allowing us to have a deeper understanding of this history. This reminds me of Zhang Chunru's "Nanjing Massacre", both of which call attention to history. We should remember history and work together to build a peaceful world.
