The Starbound Road Less Traveled

Civilization has gone from the War of the Gods, to the pursuit of immortality, and now to a time when humanity is left with nothing but mortal flesh.

As living conditions continue to deteriorate, humanity's leading scientists have split into two camps.

One is a macro-focused group, led by the West, that explores space through technological innovation.

The other is a micro-focused group, led by the East, that studies genetic engineering and cellular structure.

The first chooses to migrate in search of new habitable planets.

The second chooses to strengthen the body to adapt to the environment.

Will the continuation of human civilization depend on the evolution of the body?

Or on the advancement of humanity's space technology?

Thus begins the clash between the macro and micro extremes.
