This is a warm and beautiful story. It’s my first time writing, so the prose is a little rough around the edges. I hope you enjoy it, and that you can become anyone in this story, living simply and freely, following your heart.
During her sophomore year, Qimu is taking photos on campus when she meets Meng Feng, who is back to visit. One photograph is all it takes, but the girl she likes already belongs to someone else. Qimu begins a long, unrequited love that lasts for years. Then an accident brings Meng Feng’s marriage to an end, and she focuses on raising her child and building her career. Qimu remains single. Years later, they meet again at the height of their success. Qimu still can’t forget her, and begins the pursuit of love all over again.
