[A spin-off featuring the protagonist of The Shanhai Time-Space]
This story is entirely fictional. Please don’t make disparaging remarks about any region.
The protagonist leaves a remote island village for the big city, transforming from a simple white radish into a lotus root full of holes. In the city’s dark underbelly, a girl sets off his dramatic change.
To avenge those who hurt her, he becomes a calculating man, navigating the gray areas of life as he watches the many faces of the world with a smile.
In the end, he meets an eccentric woman, shares a series of hilarious everyday adventures, and reaches the pinnacle of life.
It's very lifelike, so far it's okay.
