Shishuoxinyu

"Shishuoxinyu" is a classic Chinese traditional aristocratic novel. It mainly records the conversational styles and anecdotes of characters in the late Han, Wei and Jin Dynasties. The book contains a total of 36 chapters and 1,130 articles. It covers politics, economy, society, literature, thought and many other aspects. Therefore, it is also an important material for studying the history of this period. It not only truly reflects people's thoughts, life and social style at that time, but also shows its high value in society, politics, thought, literature, language and other aspects. "Shishuoxinyu" has a great influence on the development history of Chinese classical Chinese novels and has always been highly valued by people. It had been introduced to Japan as early as the end of the 9th century AD. In 1974, Shishuoxinyu was fully translated into French. In 1976, it was translated into English. Lu Xun called "Shishuo Xinyu" a "textbook of celebrities" and summarized its artistic characteristics as "the words are profound and distant, cold and meaningful, and the deeds are high, simple and magnificent".
