He Loves the White Lotus, So I'm Done Being the Prince's Wife

[Traditional historical romance + palace and household intrigue + a little angst + a little catharsis + doted on exclusively + no golden finger/System/space]

Su Li entered Prince Dai's manor at the age of six to bring good fortune to Zhao Yukun, the heir. If it failed, she would be buried with him.

Luckily, she was fortunate enough to see Zhao Yukun become a general capable of leading troops into battle.

After three years away on campaign, he returned in triumph, bringing back one, then two... perfect white lotuses.

Only then did Su Li realize that Zhao Yukun's promise that they would be together for life had been foolish words spoken in his youth.

Now that he had grown up, he wanted a house full of wives and concubines.

Fine. I don't mind you having a house full of wives and concubines. Just give me a letter of release.

Zhao Yukun roared, “Don't even think about it. Alive, you're mine. Dead, you'll still be my ghost.”

Su Li leapt from a cliff, only to be caught by a man who seemed like a god of death.

He spoke gently to her: “I promise you that we will be together for life.”

From then on, Su Li listened to state affairs, attended court, and went to the battlefield. The remarkable story of her rise began.
