This book set is amazing! The various characters in "Midnight" are very vividly portrayed. I especially hate the corrupt capitalist Wu Sunfu. "Lin's Shop" made me see the sadness and helplessness of small businessmen. The prose in "The Earth, Mountains and Rivers" is simply beautiful. For example, in "Praise to the Poplar", "It is a kind of tree that strives to reach the upper reaches, with straight trunks and straight branches." This sentence describes the image of the poplar very vividly. All in all, this book is worth reading!
