Even a Good-for-Nothing Deserves Love

I poured my heart and soul into this work, revising it countless times before finally settling on the finished draft.

I used to be a young man branded as a good-for-nothing, but I was chosen and brought to an unfamiliar world, where I became an adventurer.

This is a land full of goblins and war. Goblins are the most numerous monsters, and they reproduce at an alarming rate. They kill, burn, loot, and commit every kind of atrocity, often wiping out parties of rookie adventurers. The men become food, while the women are captured for breeding. No matter what race they mate with, the women always give birth to goblin offspring.

Yet the rulers here, the king, the church, and the city-states, are too caught up in their power struggles to care. They let goblins rampage through villages, kill civilians, abduct women, and breed in their lairs. They even use the goblin threat as a bargaining chip in their political battles, all to shore up their selfish rule.
