Deep in the night, a train hurtles across the wilderness. As it nears a station, it slowly decelerates until it comes to a complete stop.
In the moonlight, twisted shadows spill from the windows along the train corridor, wandering around the carriages.
Some of them even slap the windows again and again with bloodstained palms.
Unknown creatures seem to be crawling across the roof of the train, searching for a way inside.
Far away, the Zombie King lets out a hoarse roar. Zombies from dozens of kilometers around surge toward the train like a tide.
The howling of the gale outside and the fierce gusts rushing through the cracks in the train windows are deafening.
The sky is filled with flying, mutated zombie creatures, blotting out the last sliver of moonlight and leaving only the dim warning lights.
Su Xin hides in the upper bunk of a sleeper cabin, huddled beneath a blanket and trembling all over.
His fingers fly across the glowing screen. “Train conductor!!! Is this what you meant when you said the train gets a little lively at night?!”
