A somewhat fantastical story. There were also fierce clashes of ideas at the time, and it was the first work I wrote after switching genres. I had no idea how to plan a long novel, so I awkwardly stitched together three unrelated volumes into an open-ended story. So let it remain an obscure witness, quietly resting in my memories.
