The Ruthless One Who Returned from Nightmare Paradise

Nightmare Paradise is a battleground created by a great being somewhere in the universe, all for its own amusement.

Countless beings from every corner of the universe gather here. Those who should have died are granted new life as Contractees, then sent to worlds across the universe to embark on adventures at the great being’s command, enduring countless trials between life and death.

Kavi is a Contractee who stood at the pinnacle of Nightmare Paradise and left countless legends across the universe. After completing the Paradise’s final trial, he earned the chance to make a wish to the great being.

In the end, he regained his freedom and a new life, but lost most of his power. He had no choice but to start over in his original world.

In this life, his sights are still set on the vast and boundless sea of stars.
