House of Danger

[Naturally antisocial stepson vs. clever stepmother who can handle anything]

I suspect my 11-year-old stepson wants to kill me.

Ever since I got pregnant, he's grown even more withdrawn, and all sorts of dangerous things have started appearing around the house.

Then one day, he deliberately, and supposedly by accident, bumped into my pregnant belly. I fell and instinctively reached for the stair railing in front of me.

But the railing was broken!

I couldn't take it anymore, so I confronted him face-to-face.

I listed everything he'd done, and he didn't deny a thing.

As I grew more and more upset, my water suddenly broke. I collapsed to the floor and begged him.

“Xiao He, my stomach hurts. Go… go to my room and use my phone to call an ambulance. Hurry…”

But he just stood there, staring at me like a ghost.
