I'm Done Pretending to Be a Good Student

Xu Hui is known throughout the school as a model student: excellent grades, exemplary conduct, and a cool demeanor that keeps everyone from daring to pursue him.

After an unexpected incident, Mo Youyu makes a name for herself. The school's notorious troublemakers follow her around, calling her “sis-in-law” and fussing over her every day.

But no one knows who their big brother is.

They speculate, but no one guesses that it's the model student Xu Hui.

After five long years apart,

Xu Hui has become a popular leading actor in serious dramas. When the media grill him about his love life, he, usually cold and taciturn, answers earnestly every time: “I'm not single.”

Everyone knows that the superstar Xu Hui has a mysterious girlfriend he's kept hidden for five years.

During a livestream for the launch of his new drama, Xu Hui addresses his mysterious girlfriend.

“On the first rainy day after the cherry blossoms bloom this year, Little Raindrop, I think we should see each other.”

What he doesn't know is that Mo Youyu has just returned to the country and is sitting in a car less than a hundred meters from the livestream venue. All he has to do is walk outside, and he'll see her.

But as Mo Youyu is about to get out and meet him, she sees news about Xu Hui and his rumored girlfriend, looking intimate together.

Furious, Mo Youyu smashes her phone and shouts, “Turn around!”

Before long, the whole internet knows that Xu Hui was stood up by his girlfriend and spent the entire day standing in a cherry orchard.
