Parallel Worlds, Two Lives

In a dim alley, Su Liyue rescued Xia Xiaoxiao from a group of bullies. Su Liyue was grateful countless times that she hadn’t left right after calling the police. Otherwise, when would she ever have met her?

The two went through all kinds of experiences in the human world, searched for materials, repaired the Book of Life and Death, and faced life and death together. They had long since become indispensable to each other.

Xia Xiaoxiao had thought she’d landed herself a powerful patron, but she never expected the two of them to have been entangled long before. It turned out they had once been deeply in love.

Together, they returned to their world, searched for materials, and went back to their country to bring that hypocrite down from his lofty position. He didn’t deserve it.

After putting everything in order, they went on to fulfill the wishes they had yet to complete, traveling across the spirit realm and occasionally returning to the human world to visit their old friends.
