This book "Shuowen Jiezi" is really good! It is the earliest dictionary in China, and the author Xu Shen is so awesome! The explanation of Chinese characters is very detailed, which gave me a deeper understanding of the origin and evolution of Chinese characters. I especially like the wonderful descriptions of some characters in the book, such as the character "", which is "like the shape of the sun and the moon", simple and vivid. This book is like a treasure house of Chinese characters, worth reading!
