Shi Mian, a bare-knuckle fighter, transmigrates into a book during a match and becomes a young woman in the 1970s with the exact same name.
Naturally strong enough to lift anything, Shi Mian is now a delicate, gentle girl who supposedly can’t lift a finger or carry a thing.
The book is packed with despicable characters, so Shi Mian rolls up her sleeves and sets out to beat them up one by one.
Halfway through, though, Shi Mian raises a hand.
“Let’s take a break, let’s take a break!”
Ji Beiyao has known since childhood that he was promised a bride. The two of them don’t have much affection for each other, but their families know each other well, so they figure they can make it work.
But the moment he sees her, Ji Beiyao swallows the curse he was about to yell out in pain.
From then on, he doesn’t dare breathe too loudly or speak too loudly, afraid he might blow away the delicate beauty before him.
Xiao Zhao, the orderly who once saw Shi Mian subdue a human trafficker single-handedly on a train, is utterly dumbfounded.
Is this the frail little wife the leader said couldn’t even take care of herself?
