Four years later, when they met again, Fu Hanyu stooped to playing dirty. While Wen Qichi was drunk, he coaxed her into getting a marriage certificate with him. Afraid she'd ask for a divorce, he kept it a secret from her.

One day after they got back together, Wen Qichi happened to see someone slip a room key to her husband. The person gave him a flirtatious smile and said there was a gorgeous young beauty waiting in the room.

Her husband turned them down.

That night, Wen Qichi came home, silently took out her ID card, and looked seriously at her husband. "Marry me."

When Wen Qichi learned that Fu Hanyu had gotten their marriage certificate while she was drunk, she was so angry that she refused to speak to him for a week.

Later, Wen Qichi happened to find her husband at a bar, where his friends were teasing him for being henpecked. His fingers paused around his glass. He smiled, his voice gentle. "I like having her keep me in line."

A friend laughed and asked, "And you like sleeping in the study, too?"

That night, Fu Hanyu once again carried his bedding toward the study, only for his girl to stop him at the door. She looked at him, her clear, limpid eyes reflecting his image.

She asked only, "Can you sleep without holding me these past few days?"

Fu Hanyu smiled, his voice tender. "No."

She looked at him, hands clasped behind her back, and pursed her soft lips. "Then go back to the master bedroom! Don't hide things from me again, or I'll kick you out all over again!"

Fu Hanyu smiled blissfully. "Thank you, my wife."
