Pirates: My Wretched Sailors

(Pirates + Curses + Comedy + Not a Saintly Do-Gooder + Monsters and Spirits)

The Haiya Empire has a special liquor called ‘Virgin’s Love.’

Why? Because if a virgin drinks it, they’ll fall completely in love with it. It tastes wonderfully sweet and leaves a lingering fragrance.

But if you’re not a virgin, it tastes bitter. The more experience you’ve had, the more bitter it gets. That’s why it’s called Virgin’s Love.

The liquor is a favorite among sailors who spend all year at sea. They drink it like water, and it tastes especially sweet to them.

Whether it really tastes sweet once you’ve had some is anyone’s guess.

“Captain, where are we heading next?”

“To the Haiya Empire. We’re running low on Virgin’s Love. I need to stock up.”
