I Ascended, Returned, and Found the Apocalypse Had Begun

Zhong Yuang transmigrated to a continent of immortal cultivators.

Determined to find a way back, she worked tirelessly until at last she was about to ascend.

According to a book, anyone who ascended to godhood could find a way to tear through the void. That was the goal she had been striving toward all this time.

And yet...

Just as she finally survived the tribulation and prepared to climb the Heavenly Ladder, a mass of black mist swallowed her whole???

Fortunately, it spat her back out.

But why did this place look so familiar?

That’s right. Before she could find a way to tear through the void and return home, she had come back through that black mist, bringing her divine power with her.

But when she got home, she didn’t find her lovely family, friends, or worldly possessions waiting for her!

Instead, she found ruins stretching as far as the eye could see, biting zombies, and all sorts of strange creatures!!

Zombies that ate people, but might still be saved...

Purple mist monsters that ate buildings...

Eggs falling from the sky...

An amnesiac interstellar general...

An innkeeper with a System...

The senior brother from the cultivation world, who should have become a god but somehow ended up here...

And the ultimate mastermind behind it all...

Zhong Yuang: “Thanks for asking. There’s so much going on, I need a moment to process it...”

Still, since she had returned with divine power, she would uncover the mastermind and make this apocalypse disappear from the world, for the sake of her family, her car, her house, and her savings!

(This is my first time writing, so please be kind!)
