The Quest for Immortality

Immortality is distant and transcendent, beyond the mortal world. All of us struggle to cross the raging current of all things.

I seek no immortality, yet events defy my wishes. I seek no immortality, yet I cannot go against the tide of the times.

I must seek immortality to break free of the confusion in my heart. I must seek immortality to roam freely between heaven and earth.
