A refined, courteous heir to a powerful Beijing family VS a gentle yet headstrong beauty
[Marriage first, love later + adorable child + unaware of his own feelings + slow-burn romance]
Everyone says Gu Sixian is madly in love with Wen He.
Only the two people involved refuse to admit it.
Gu Sixian says firmly, “I don’t love her. I treat her well because she’s my wife. Whoever my wife is, I’ll spoil her.”
Wen He says breezily, “Gu Sixian would spoil even a husky rotten if he married one.”
Later, Gu Sixian’s first love, the one he’s always held dear, comes back.
Wen He says, “I won’t be your wife anymore. Go spoil whoever you want.”
Gu Sixian: “I love Wen He. I only spoil Wen He.”
Wen He: “What if your wife isn’t Wen He?”
Gu Sixian thinks it over, looking troubled. “I’d still spoil Wen He.”
Then he mutters under his breath,
“My wife can only be Wen He.”
Wen He: “That comeback hit me out of nowhere.”
Gu Sixian: “Compared to Wen He, I don’t need to save face.”
Why haven't I seen the famous scenes written in the introduction after watching it? Maybe I dozed off, but I actually feel that the male protagonist is not as relaxed as the introduction says. This book has not explained clearly some things between the male protagonist and the second female lead by the end of the book. Overall, it is okay. I just want to read it to pass the time.
It's beautiful. The author, please don't give up. You must keep reading. Come on.
When the male protagonist meets the female protagonist again, he actually still has the shadow of Bai Yueguang in his heart, but their daily relationship makes them achieve success.
It looks good and the writing is good.
Taipei is so beautiful
