Two-way portal + one heroine + sweet romance + power fantasy. They settle down together later on.
Chen Xuan was a struggling writer, staying up late one night to meet a deadline. When he woke up, he had somehow arrived in another world. Before him sat a breathtakingly beautiful woman dressed in finery, clutching a blanket and glaring at him in grief and indignation.
Chen Xuan: Who are you, and why are you in my bed?
Luo Li: Who are you? And what are you doing in My Majesty’s bedchamber?
In the Great Zhou Dynasty, might makes right, and political intrigue is of little importance. Luo Li has been stripped of her power and can only serve as a puppet empress.
Fortunately, Chen Xuan has a two-way portal. With technology and political strategy, he can crush this world from both directions.
Royal chef: I’ve tasted every delicacy under heaven, but I bow before this food called instant noodles.
Top general: What is this gun Chen Xuan talks about? I hear it’s faster than a spear from seven paces away, and both faster and more accurate from closer up.
Minister: Chen Xuan’s strategies are peerless: turning two peaches against three warriors, taking military power away over a cup of wine, and those “Five Ways to Slay a Dragon” he’s always talking about. I’m over fifty, and I’ve truly wasted my life...
Chen Xuan: I have a dream: world peace.
(The synopsis doesn’t do it justice. Read the story!)
The characterization is pretty good. After reading Chapter 18, jump to the latest chapters and read it. I feel like the main problem right now is that it makes people jump to watch it, and it's not very solid. Neither the protagonist nor the empress could possibly keep their trump card after overturning the table. The protagonist has not yet obtained a weapon that can threaten the Grand Master, nor does he say that if there is a real problem, he can bring the empress back to modern times for refuge. It gives people an unsteady feeling. Even if Luo Yan is the big boss at the end of this book, if he is defeated, everything will be fine and everyone will be able to make dumplings together. But the current situation between the protagonist and the empress also gives people a sense of powerlessness. They do not have the power to resist or even protect themselves, their true self.
The heroine is very cute, and the characterization is relatively complete compared to the formulaic heroines in most of Tomato's other novels. Maybe this is also the advantage of having a single heroine. You can focus on describing one heroine, and there are more details in the character's psychological activities and body language. However, in comparison, the current portrayal of the male protagonist is quite average. It feels like he is simply a cheat for the female protagonist. To put it bluntly, this character has not "lived". The author can consider arranging some highlight moments for him. But for the female protagonist, the male protagonist is the one who pulled her up when she was deep in the quagmire and about to drown. She has always called the male protagonist a hero, which shows that in her heart, the male protagonist is like a hero who fell from the sky (although this is almost the case).
Coming from a mixed martial arts background, it seems difficult to make a comeback, and you will have to cheat later on.
I hope the author will not stop updating, let alone stop updating just because there are few people. Come on, author. Thank you to the author for your attention
Very good, give me some encouragement
I just watched it, and I haven't seen much of a deep strategy yet. There is one bright spot, the heroine is very cute!
Okay, very sweet, but not too much
It's okay, but I feel like the author will enter the palace soon after writing
The heroine is very sweet and beautiful.
Hope to continue writing
