To successfully pass through his metamorphosis and reach adulthood, Jing Xia leaves the place where he grew up and heads into space in search of an opportunity to change.

After picking up an egg containing an unknown creature, afflicted by the same chaotic bloodline as himself, he successfully reunites with his guardian.

But he never expected the road to adulthood to be so full of twists and turns.

He grabs the wings of the insectoid before him, whose human form is taller than him and whose true form is longer than his.

Pointing at the fluffy, chubby, adorable hatchling in an old group photo, which looked like a bumblebee with a cat’s head, he says darkly, “You’d better give me an explanation, or I’ll eat you!”

The Insect Emperor puts on an innocent, adorable act.

Mini-scene one:

Jing Xia, an innocent “Blue Star native,” trembles as he clutches the insect hatchling he found, watching his furious guardian wear a terrifying smile.

“You two eat my food, live under my roof, and now this little one has eaten half a warehouse of my treasures?”

“What do you have to say for yourself? Hmm?”

Jing Xia shudders. Thinking of his dad’s identical little stash, he quietly replies, “How about I raid my dad’s stash for you when I finish my mission and go back?”

“Sure. Most of it was stuff I gave your dad in the first place.”

“Glad we have a deal.” The guardian agrees in record time.
