You Stole My Project to Enter the Competition, and Now You Want Me to Pay for the Mess?

Xia Fan was a graduate student who spent hundreds of days and nights working on a research project for his degree.

But when he submitted the project to his professor for review, the professor handed it to his own son to enter in a national research competition!

And that wasn't all. The professor even called Xia Fan to tell him:

"It's a good project. My son likes it, and he even won a prize. Prepare another project for your graduation instead!"

"You stealing my project was bad enough, but you gave it to your son too. Did you even ask me?"

Xia Fan refused.

But the professor directly threatened him, saying that if Xia Fan dared to tell anyone the project was his, he would make sure Xia Fan never graduated.

He also went around the school claiming Xia Fan was lazy and had failed to produce a decent project for years.

Soon, everyone else at the school was looking at Xia Fan differently. Some even speculated that he'd gotten into graduate school through connections.

Xia Fan couldn't take it anymore. He exposed the professor's appalling conduct and sued him.

So what if he's a nationally renowned professor?

Does being a professor and expert mean you can do whatever you want?

Xia Fan: "He stole my research results, then shamelessly attacked and threatened me! I demand that he be stripped of his professorship!"

Professor: "???"
