No one knows what the world is like, and there is more than one world. Each world has its own rules, and all we can do is follow them.
The world Mo Ying lives in is called the Chess Realm. It is a dazzling place with many worlds under its jurisdiction. Some of those worlds share the Chess Realm’s rules, while others follow very different ones. This variety makes the Chess Realm all the more wondrous.
But beauty cannot last forever. The world advances through struggle, and to grow stronger, it must wage war without end. As it happens, the Chess Realm has encountered a rather bizarre world, and so the fighting has begun.
The clash between these two worlds must end with one victor. The Chess Realm does not seek endless war, but the world on the other side is so strange that if it cannot satisfy its hunger, it will destroy itself. This battle must end either with the Chess Realm victorious or with its destruction.
