The Aloof Professor and His Puppy-Like Boyfriend

[Age Gap] [Younger Man] [Sweet Romance] [Mutually Exclusive]

Scheming yet gentle older man × short-tempered, loyal younger man

Liu Zhenyi is a university lecturer, refined and mild-mannered. His life motto is, “It’s better not to make trouble where you don’t have to.”

Until one day, he casually helped a girl who was being harassed. As it turned out, her pursuer was Lu Yin, the notorious “campus tyrant” of the sports department.

Lu Yin was ruthless and taciturn, with fists faster than his thoughts. Convinced Liu Zhenyi had deliberately ruined his chances, he launched into a campaign of picking fights with him:

He brought his rowdy friends to disrupt Liu’s lectures? Liu was delighted to have more students in class and calmly let them stay, only to fail them all at the end of the term.

He deliberately smashed a tennis ball at Liu? Liu dodged, and the ball hit a school administrator squarely in the head. Lu Yin got a major demerit.

He blocked Liu on his way home to “teach him a lesson”? Liu unhurriedly took out his phone and said with a bright smile,

“Perfect timing. I’m filming material for a campus safety video. Want to be the leading man?”

Lu Yin was so furious his teeth ached. Every time he tried something, Teacher Liu effortlessly turned the tables, leaving Lu to swallow his frustration.

But at some point, picking fights turned into “chance encounters,” and his fierce glares became furtive glances that he quickly looked away from. Lu Yin realized he was paying more and more attention to this teacher who seemed gentle on the surface but was actually quite the schemer.

And through their repeated battles of wits, Liu Zhenyi saw through the clumsy, passionate heart of that “campus tyrant.”

All his “troublemaking” was just a way of expressing a crush he didn’t know how to put into words.
