Synopsis

[Two male leads, friends with benefits, 1v1]

[Born into a family of fools: a reckless, dim-witted, useless deposed emperor who takes the bottom X a scheming enemy-state general skilled in witchcraft, with a slight case of lovesickness, who takes the top]

[The story includes a strong woman and weak man who get little description, and the man dies. Please avoid if this bothers you.]

After leading a doomed campaign and returning home only to have his kingdom stolen by treacherous ministers, Zhu Mingze, emperor of Great Chen, is carried off by an enemy general! That only makes the charge of treason and selling out his country all the more convincing.

Zhu Mingze assumes Xiao Hanyun has taken him away just to humiliate him. He’s right, but he never expected there to be so many ways of doing it. The little bugs inside his body seem able to understand human speech, and always work exactly where they’re needed.

Everyone in Jinguan knows the great general is keeping a beautiful man hidden away. The man never shows his face, and whenever he goes out, the general keeps a firm grip on his arm and won’t let anyone approach. If someone so much as takes a second look, the great general, renowned for his compassion and love of the people, suddenly becomes murderous.

Though he’s so openly devoted in front of others, the servants in the general’s residence say they can always hear the man screaming in pain.

Zhu Mingze has to admit that Xiao Hanyun doesn’t treat him badly. As long as he obediently does what he’s told, Xiao Hanyun will grant almost any request. Still, there’s something about it that doesn’t feel right... He must have been put under some kind of spell again. Otherwise, how could he have become so muddle-headed?

At first, Xiao Hanyun regards Zhu Mingze as nothing more than a pawn. But somewhere along the way, after a full day of political affairs, he grows accustomed to visiting that private residence for a little amusement. Watching Zhu Mingze grow furious and helpless at his words, like a little cat with its fur standing on end, is simply too entertaining.

Looking for Historical Danmei!!!

Cultivation or ancient settings are both fine, but it has to be either a story with two male leads or no CP. I feel like I can’t find anything with good writing and sound logic that’s both heartbreaking and sweet. It needs to fit the topic... I’m really not interested in anything anymore... Either a BE or HE is fine. Please save me!!!!!
