Selected Documents on the Japanese Army's Biological Warfare by Unit 731 in China

Over more than a decade, the compilers of this book gathered and organized valuable declassified materials from the national archives of Japan, the Soviet Union, and the United States, along with court testimony from Chinese civilian victims of Japan's biological warfare who sought compensation from the Japanese government, and verdicts handed down by the Tokyo District Court. This is the most comprehensive collection of historical records to date on the biological warfare waged by Unit 731 of the Japanese army during its invasion of China. It will not only help advance academic research in China on Japan's biological warfare, but also help ordinary readers understand the atrocities committed against the Chinese people during the Japanese invasion.
