Strange Tales from Western Hunan

In the book, many short stories are told in a gentle way, which makes people's eyes shine on the legends of the past. Many of the miscellaneous understandings and speculations came from classics, and my interest in traditional culture arose unconsciously. Although it is written in writing, it is worth recalling and savoring. A carpenter who builds a coffin can make the difference between life and death. The seemingly mysterious stories and legends actually contain the inheritance of Chinese culture. It's worth reading, and it's beyond the imagination.

This is not only a suspenseful and supernatural novel, but also a "written conversation" record of folk culture. It uses mythology as its bones, folk customs as its flesh, and culture as its soul, allowing us to re-examine those traditions that have been forgotten in the corners while feeling the suspenseful atmosphere. When we follow the stories in the book, travel through the misty and rainy villages of Xixiang, witness the solemnity of ancient rituals, and listen to anecdotes about ghosts and gods passed down by word of mouth, we feel not only the excitement of adventure, but also the warmth and thickness of traditional civilization. For readers who like folklore and slow-paced suspense stories, this work is undoubtedly a cultural journey worth immersing in.

The stories of Xiangxi are always so touching in novels. The stilted buildings in the landscape, the footsteps on the bluestone road, and the crisp sound of the Miao girl's silver jewelry are all vividly drawn by the author with delicate brushstrokes. The characters in the story seem to have come from the mountains, carrying the fragrance of earth and the freshness of rain and dew. Their emotions are so real that you can't help but be moved by them. The author's description of the customs and customs of western Hunan is particularly exquisite, not only showing the unique folk culture, but also integrating the simplicity and tenacity between the lines. Whether it's the mysterious legend of the corpse exorcists or the affectionate duets of folk songs, people can feel the unique charm of this land. Xiangxi in the novel is not only a distant foreign land, but also the hometown of the soul. It is fascinating to read.

After reading the whole book, it feels less like a novel and more like the author telling readers about his experiences, giving people a clearer understanding of Western Hunan. Some of the things involved are worthy of careful comment. It is a readable book. Many things seem to be around you, and the author's understanding of world affairs is also mixed in. In Xixiang, many seemingly mysterious or legendary stories can be found in many places. Similar traces can be found in many places, such as some records in ancient borrowings, and the sayings that people on both sides of the river are familiar. Unfortunately, the author, perhaps Chen Jun in the story, has not yet told us what the exorcism of corpses is all about. In addition, each paragraph is a bit long, making it a bit inconvenient to read on a mobile phone. Come on

The novel is more like a "Folklore Notes of Western Hunan" written with stories. It picks up and polishes the cultural fragments scattered among the people, and weaves them into fascinating chapters. When we follow the story and travel through the misty and rainy villages of western Hunan, touch the traditional etiquette hidden in the customs, and feel the survival philosophy soaked in the wisdom of the ancients, we will find that the so-called "strange news" is nothing more than the understanding and awe of the world by our predecessors, and it is the most vivid and vivid expression of traditional culture. For readers who like suspense, supernatural and traditional culture, this work is undoubtedly a feast. It has the excitement of a magical story, the profound heritage of folk culture, and a gentle inquiry into human nature and tradition. After reading the hidden volume, those magical legends of Xiangxi gradually faded away, and what remained in my heart was the awe and cherishment of traditional culture, as well as the infinite reverie about the people and things that once lived in this land.

A very classic suspense novel, a very thought-provoking mysterious Xiangxi. This book comes from life and is higher than life. It really deserves a five-star review. The author has superb writing style, clever conception, rich character descriptions, and compact plot. It makes you want to read and get out of hand. You can't stop at all. The only regret is that the length is too short. I look forward to a new story 💕

5-Star review. Very interesting. I think it's worth reading. If you don't read it, you will regret it for the rest of your life. It's very interesting. It's a novel novel. You can definitely read it. This is a work that stayed up late to catch up on updates. The author's imagination is wide-ranging and the characters are described with vivid scenes and details. Breaking through the traditional framework, the main and branch characters are clearly and vividly created, and the concept of the structure from the small self to the big self has jumped up. This book made me immersed in it. The plot had ups and downs and the characters were vividly drawn, as if they were vividly written on the page. It not only brought me endless imagination, but also gave me profound insights. Every page is full of surprises and is worth reading again and again. It is a five-star review and highly recommended!

A temple is not a temple, but a place where ancestors are worshiped. It is also called an ancestral hall. The size varies according to status. This is what a common people's home shrine means. Read Chapter 36. The story and legend are vivid and well-founded in history, not a ghost story. The male protagonist Chen Jun looks like the author himself, reminiscing about his childhood weddings and funerals, which is very nostalgic. The rooster symbolism is depicted realistically, not mythologically. The language is simple and the emotions are cordial. [Top post][Top post][Top post][Top post][Top post]

A classic suspense novel with a wonderful plot that is very comfortable to listen to. The story is instructive and wonderful. The origin, spread and development of the story are all clearly written. It is a masterpiece of suspense and is worth listening to and reading slowly!

The mysterious Xiangxi is very memorable. All the stories have a long history. The more remote the place is, the more ancient the customs and customs are. The more national and global you are, the closer you are to understanding the life of your ancestors in remote places. Enough to take a look.
