Through a questionnaire survey, the author describes and analyzes the governance characteristics of urban communities in northwest ethnic areas from five dimensions: community identity and sense of belonging of urban multi-ethnic community residents, residents' perceptions of community management, community resident participation, community ethnic relations, and community stability early warning conditions; from the perspective of the governance subjects and governance of urban multi-ethnic communities From the perspective of content, combined with the realistic characteristics of urban multi-ethnic communities, this article focuses on and targeted selected cases of the current large number of "village-to-residence" multi-ethnic community governance changes, urban multi-ethnic community services, and urban multi-ethnic community elderly care services under the background of an aging society, and conducted in-depth analysis.
