This book discusses in detail many issues such as the image of the Chinese in the Ming Dynasty in the "Chaotianlu"; it elaborates and demonstrates the external and internal images of the late Goryeo Dynasty and the Joseon Dynasty, laying the foundation for studying the image of the Chinese in the Ming Dynasty; it also discusses the most representative civilians in Ming Dynasty China who were most frequently contacted by envoys when they were on mission to China.
