It's a pretty good novel, but the first-person narrative may be a bit discouraging. This is purely a matter of style, so if you don't like it, you can avoid it. The language is a bit bland, just, it feels like it's a bit lacking in flavor and needs to be polished. Overall, it's okay. I feel like I'm growing up like a stupid boy.
