Scorpio

Yang Yu finally understood what the disillusionment with life that had been popular for years really felt like. Afraid he would keep pestering her and that the truth would come out, she didn’t even say a proper goodbye. She ran off like a thief fleeing the scene.

People say that after things reach their worst, they can only get better. Once your luck hits rock bottom, it has to bounce back.

“Scorpio, huh? Scorpios follow their feelings in love. They can be deeply devoted, but they aren’t faithful or long-lasting. They’re jerks without even realizing it. He’s got all the traits of a water sign: sensitive, subtle, and easily moved to tears. He especially likes things intense, whether he’s hurting someone else or himself, the kind of pain that makes your heart, liver, spleen, lungs, and kidneys ache all at once. How did you end up falling for a Scorpio?”

“Yeah. She said I remind her of her ex-boyfriend. I’m just as determined, ambitious, driven, and independent as he was. She also said my personality is similar, and that I always remind her of the year they spent together.”

“…So she’s treating you like a stand-in for her ex?”

“No. She’s getting married, to her first love, the one she dated for five years.”

“So what are you going to do?”

“Hold on to her and pester her, never let her go. Keep my distance and get close, cut her off and flirt with her, stay in touch and give her the cold shoulder, resent her and act cold. Give her the ultimate challenge and thrill, and make her pay back every bit of pain I’ve suffered.”
