Silly Zhu in the Siheyuan

Xu Damao, what are you doing?

What am I doing? Sister Qin, have you forgotten the money I paid for your meals in the factory canteen?

That was ages ago. What are you trying to do now?

I’m not trying to do anything. Qin Jingru has been with me for so long, but we still don’t have a child. Is it wrong to want one?

Sister Qin, you wouldn’t want Banggeng to lose his job, would you?

Xu Damao, you could treat Banggeng as your own. If you’re good to him, he’ll definitely take care of you when you’re old.

Banggeng can’t be taught gratitude. I taught him how to screen movies, but after he got paid, he told me he hadn’t. It’s better to have a child of your own. Huairu, help me out. We can work something out about Banggeng. As he spoke, Xu Damao lunged at Qin Huairu.

What are you doing? Are you crazy? Qin Huairu struggled free, slapped Xu Damao, and ran off.

Sister Qin, think it over. If you agree, I’ll let Banggeng come back. Once you have a child, I’ll make Banggeng a permanent employee.
