"The Prince and the Pauper" is Mark Twain's masterpiece. It describes the prince Edward and the pauper Tom, who have different identities but similar looks, and exchange roles by mistake. At first, they were just driven by curiosity and exchanged clothes, but they didn't expect that their fate would change from then on. Pauper Tom wore the prince's clothes and became the new king of England in the palace; but the real prince Edward wandered around, suffering the bullying and ridicule of poverty and beggars.

A very interesting literary classic with well-described characters. It is worthy of being written by Mark Twain. The writing is very interesting and the plot is vivid. It is really pleasant to read. After the prince went through hardships, and under the circumstances that the pauper never gave up looking for the real prince and actively welcomed the return of the real prince, he finally washed away the humiliation and returned to his own glory. The evildoers were finally punished. But it may not be applicable in reality. After all, it still has a fairy tale color in it.
Mark Twain also satirized the powerful in his words, and used the innocence and kindness of children to set off the ugliness of human nature.
The writing style of this book is very humorous, and Mark Twain used simple words to depict vivid characters. The story is full of imagination and made me feel the gap between the rich and the poor in society. It also taught me that no matter what circumstances we find ourselves in, we must remain kind and courageous. This book is well worth reading!
Great book! Recommended to study! !
Good books are worth owning
Come on, come on, oh oh oh
Very beautiful, worth recommending
The writing of this book is average, but it is passable, not as good as that written by that master.
