"The Legend of Green Pearl" is a Chinese classical Chinese legendary novel from the Song Dynasty. It describes the bizarre experience of the beautiful woman Luzhu during the Western Jin Dynasty. Luzhu's real name was Liang, and she became the concubine of Shi Chong, a famous eunuch in the Western Jin Dynasty because of her beauty. During the "Eight Kings Rebellion", the powerful minister Sun Xiu asked Shi Chong for green beads, but Shi Chong refused. Soon, Shi Chong was arrested and Luzhu committed suicide by falling from the building.
