Guan Zhong (645 BC) is Guan Jingzhong. Politician in the early Spring and Autumn Period. His name is Yiwu, his courtesy name is Zhong, and he is from Yingshang (on the shore of Yingshui River). Recommended by Bao Shuya, he was appointed as a minister by Duke Huan of Qi and was honored as "Zhongfu". He helped Duke Huan of Qi call on him to "respect the king and repel the barbarians" and became the first overlord in the Spring and Autumn Period. For comments, see "Guoyu Qiyu".
