Six years ago, an accident made a brash, arrogant young man hang up his racing suit, return to his family, and become Third Master Xie, feared by spirits and gods alike throughout City A.
Decisive and ruthless, cold and merciless.
Savage and cruel, with no regard for others.
Then one day, Jiang Mimi, a minor celebrity blacklisted by the entertainment industry for assaulting an investor, came knocking on his door.
To everyone else, he was a devil incarnate. To her, he had been the man she longed for but could never have for six years.
She began putting on a performance, chasing him down and cornering him at every turn.
He ran, she chased. He had no way out.
She pinned the famously woman-averse Third Master Xie against a wall.
“Baby, still haven’t remembered who I am?”
